Thank You to All Who Visited in December
Thank you to everyone who came to the Visual Philosophy Handmade for the Holidays event in December. I felt so much joy meeting new people and talking about art with you all. We were so furtunate to be able to have our fun event before Omicron case numbers went crazy here!
Handmade for the Holidays Art Sale Two-Day Event
Nearly 30 artists, including myself, are participating in the Visual Philosophy Studio “Handmade for the Holidays Art Show and Sale” in San Jose. I’ll have my art studio open and will have the new small paintings available for sale plus my other larger paintings, and giftable prints (some are framed), greeting cards, bookmarks, and some very special hand-painted magnets.
My Art Is Showing at HARK! Affordable Art Show and Sale in December
I have five pieces of art at KALEID Gallery for the HARK! Holiday Art Show and Sale again this year. It will be there along with the art of 40+ other amazing local artists. The opening of the show is this Friday during the San Jose First Friday in the SoFA District, and the art will be remain on display and for sale until January 15, 2022. It’s first come, first served.
Dreamy Snapshots in December
Throughout the months of October and November, I worked on a new series of eight small flower field paintings titled “Dreamy Snapshots” that are 5×7 inches and framed with a mat. I also started a new series of flowers over an abstract background in a square 8×8 inch size and have three of those ready for sale.
Studio Open to the Public Twice in September
I’ll be painting in my studio while it’s open to the public on Saturday, 9/11 3-6pm during the “Nature Takes” art exhibition by Lisa Pelgrim and also on Sunday, 9/18 10am-3pm during Viva CalleSJ.
Artist Open Studios this Weekend
Join me for Artist Open Studios at Visual Philosophy Studios, 1065 The Alameda, San Jose, CA 95126, August 14 & 15, 2021, 3:00-6:00pm. We’ll have artists in-house and a wide variety of art, including paintings, sculpture, furniture, printmaking, drawing and more.
