I’m thrilled to announce that both of the paintings were accepted for consideration for “Holding the Moment,” a serial exhibition put on by the City of San José’s Public Art Program partnered with the Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport. The exhibition’s purpose is to offer local San José artists an opportunity to reflect on the global COVID-19 crisis and these challenging times.

Thoughts on the Online Open Studio
As you may recall, in August I participated, along with 8 other artists, in the first ever online open studio sponsored by Visual Philosophy Studios. Considering we had only nine artists participating, the range of amazing artwork on display was staggering and inspiring. We had print making, pop art, blacksmithing, sculpture, painting, partrait painting, fiber arts, and more. There was a little something for everyone.

KALEID Gallery Now Showing My Art
On Saturday, my new wall was installed at KALEID Gallery on south First Street in downtown San Jose. My hubby and I were there working on the install, but really, it was masterminded by Robertino Ragazza (@thememoirist and @lorde_grayson). He does curation for Phantom Galleries in San Jose and has an incredible eye for this kind of stuff. I’m so thrilled with how it turned out!
