I love the California winter, known here as the rainy season, but by the time Spring actually arrives, I’m so ready for it. My “Spring is Coming Poppy Meadow” acrylic painting is a celebration of what I know is just around the corner for California – Spring, glorious Spring.
We’ve had an exceptional year for rain this year and reports are that a wildflower super bloom is likely happen because of it. Our last super bloom was in 2017 when we had the drought-busting heavy rains. I’m looking forward to it again this year.
At a large 40 inch by 30 inch size, this painting brings colorful drama to an empty wall. It’s on a deep 1 3/8 inch gallery wrapped canvas and the painting continues around all four edges.
I’ll be showing this painting in my new studio for Silicon Valley Open Studios in May – I hope you can stop by to see it!
