On Saturday, my new wall was installed at KALEID Gallery on south First Street in downtown San Jose. My hubby and I were there working on the install, but really, it was masterminded by Robertino Ragazza (@thememoirist and @lorde_grayson). He does curation for Phantom Galleries in San Jose and has an incredible eye for this kind of stuff. I’m so thrilled with how it turned out!
This coming Friday, February 7, 2020, I’ll be at the gallery to meet and greet people during the South FIRST FRIDAYS art walk in the San Jose SoFA arts district. The art walk runs from 7:00pm-11:00pm and includes a number of venues. This is the first art walk of the new decade and there will be so much to see – lots of artists with a wide range of styles and mediums. Add to that, the weather is supposed to be nice, as compared to my opening two months ago for the solo exhibition across the street, when the blustery wind and rain drenched everyone.
If you’re in town, I hope you’ll stop by to see me and all of the other artists and venues. There’s so much incredible art that you’re sure to find something you’ll love!
