Have you ever spent an afternoon in a coffee shop or outside café near a table that overpowered the space? A gathering of souls engrossed in conversation – bright, witty people laughing and debating. The synergy lights up the area.

A huge, overgrown bird of paradise plant across the street from my home reminds me of such a gathering – the large flowers engrossed in conversation, oblivious to my observation of them.
